Joseph’s Public Service
Joseph’s service in our community began over 30 years ago, serving on the Christian House of Prayer’s staff and as an elected Council Member in Copperas Cove. Since 1997, he’s served as Executive Director of the Refuge Corporation, a non-profit community service organization and agency of the United Way of the Greater Fort Hood and Combine Federal Campaign. He’s also a partner of the Central Texas Food Bank and Feeding America. His role as Executive Director has afforded him the privilege of collaborating with various community organizations, city officials, and community leaders – in addition to providing service and support to community concerns and issues such as homelessness, women’s and men’s shelters, drug abuse/addictions, mobile food pantry distributions, and support to schools, students, and their surrounding communities.
